I read the Service-public and now it seems to me that this visa (type D) implies the following:
- I should enter the France in the period from April, 1 to June, 30 (the dates of validity are specified on my visa);
- I can stay in France for 1 year from the date of my arrival
- Upon arrival in France, this visa allows me exercise professional activity, because it has PASS. TALENT mention
- Within 3 months of my arrival in France, I must validate my visa and pay a tax in addition to the visa fee;
- If I intended to stay more than 1 year, I must apply for a residence card talent passport - eu blue card - working as an employed person;
- I must submit my application for a residence card on the Internet, at the earliest 4 months and at the latest 2 months before the end of validity of my visa.
As I understand, this means that after my arrival to France (for example, on April, 1) I should validate my visa withing 3 monthes (until June, 30). After that I must apply for residence card if I want to work more than 1 year, and I will be able to do it in the period at the earliest 4 months and at the latest 2 months before the end of validity of my visa (from December, 1, 2024 till January, 31, 2025). My visa allows me to work upon my arrival to France (from April, 2, for example, just because April, 1 is a holiday).
Do I understand the procedure and rules correctly?
