I am writing to you from the Avis Executive Office regarding the concerns that were raised pertaining to problems at the Brightline Miami location on or around January 20th, 2023.
Mr./Ms. Bayazitov, discrimination is not only illegal it is just bad business. Consequently, Avis Car Rental maintains a no tolerance policy toward discrimination of any kind. We take concerns of this nature seriously and upon receipt of your complaint an appropriate review was conducted.
Our review indicated that the interaction in question occurred at an Independently Operated location. Our records show that the rental was declined as you did not have the credit card used at the time of prepayment on your person at the time of rental or a major credit card. We do apologize but any one renting with a foreign licenses is required to provide a major credit card to complete the rental as we do not accept foreign debit cards.
Our review found no basis to believe that acts of discrimination or discriminatory conduct occurred during your interactions with the location staff.
We apologize for any frustration that may have arisen during your interactions with the location staff while trying to facilitate a rental and appreciate you bringing the matter to our attention.
