Подскажите по страховке Genki, через сколько она начинает действовать если оформляешь за пределами домашней страны?
В правилах сказано:
If the insurance contract is concluded abroad, the waiting period for medical benefits is 14 days from the date of the confirmed start of insurance. The waiting period does not apply in case of an accident or medical help aiming to prevent acute danger to the Insured Person’slife. The waiting period can be waived if the insurance is purchased immediately subsequent to prior insurance. In this case, please hand in a copy of your prior insurance when you file a claim that concerns cost with in the waiting period.
Получается, что начало действия через 14 дней после оформления. Но если у меня есть другая страховка до 01.04 и я сейчас оформлю Genki с началом действия 01.04, то она сразу начнет действовать или только спустя какой-то период?

"The waiting period can be waived if the insurance is purchased immediately subsequent to prior insurance" - я думаю, тут они всё же свою страховку имеют в виду.

"Период ожидания можно отменить, если страховка приобретена сразу после предыдущей страховки". Получается Genki начнёт действовать с 1.04
