Update 13th February 2023@04:15am: In 2023 you allowed again 2 visa exempt entry via land border, but Russian, Malaysian, Indonesian, Laotian, Vietnamese and Singaporean can do this kind of OUT/IN unlimited times. Proof of Vaccination is not required.

Update 9th January 2023@17:30: Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health, H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, said “International travellers arriving in Thailand are not required to show proof of vaccination.” On 1st January the Law 2 visa exempt entry via land border per calendar has been reset. For your info: Russian, Malaysian, Indonesian, Laotian, Vietnamese and Singaporean can do this kind of OUT/IN unlimited times

Visitors who want to work and also visit tourist destinations will be able to get five-year visas valid for stays up to 180 days, extendable for another 180 days. They were previously entitled to only two stays of 30 days each, the government spokesman said.

26) Your income in Thailand is defined as any money paid to you inside Thailand, as well as, potentially, any money you receive from overseas. Both types are potentially assessable income for Thai Tax Residents. There are many types of income that can be classed as assessable. The Thai RD lists some of them in Section 40, 1-8, excluding that income that is excluded by a DTA or other RD rules, and is linked below. However, the list is not exhaustive and does not consider all of the many different types of overseas income that foreigners may have:

28) In Thai tax law, virtually all income is assessable, unless it is subsequently excluded by the taxpayer or under Thai RD rules - there is no concept of non-assessable income. Income is understood to mean money that is received from any source. The definition of income that is derived from within Thailand is fairly clear, if you work and have a job and you are a Tax Resident, the payment you receive is assessable for tax. Interest that is paid to you on Thai bank accounts is regarded as assessable income, as is income from investments such as stocks and bonds within Thailand. As a general principle, any payment you receive for work that arises within Thailand is regarded as assessable income. You should note that if you are generating income by working while staying in Thailand, it is (and has always been) irrelevant where that money is paid and whether you bring the money into the country or keep it offshore. That money arises in Thailand hence it is taxable here.

Please note that in order to be eligible to file your short-stay visa application at a Hungarian Embassy / Consulate / VAC you should fulfill one of the following criteria:
• You are a citizen of the country from where you are applying.
• You are a foreign citizen on a permanent/temporary residence permit in the country from where you are applying.
This means you cannot apply for a short-stay Hungarian visa from a country in which you are currently on a visa.

THAI CONSULATE SAVANNAKHET POLICY CHANGE
The thai consulate in Savannakhet Lao will go to online appointment booking only effective June 1st (actually on Tuesday June 4th which is the first day they're open after the holiday).
They will no longer allow walk up service, you have to book an appt to get in the gate.
Also their processing time for visas have changed and they have the same processing time as Vientiane.
Apply for a visa and get the passport back two business days after the application (NOT including the day you apply, so what I call 3 day processing)
Examplez;
Apply Monday morning/passport returned Wednesday afternoon
Apply Thursday morning/ passport returned Monday afternoon
Apply Friday morning/passport returned Tuesday afternoon

Насчет штрафов за нарушение порядка: оттуда же: If a foreigner staying in the kingdom over 90 days without notifying the Immigration Bureau or notifying the
Immigration Bureau later than the set period, a fine of 2,000.- Baht will be collected. If a foreigner who did not make the notification of staying over 90 days is arrested, he will be fined 4,000.- Baht.
