Ответили официально по почте вот так из посольства Америки в Японии:

We understand that you would like to know if you can apply for a visa at one of the U.S Consulate/Embassy in Japan.

Applicants are generally advised to apply in their country of nationality or residence. Any person who is legally present in Japan may apply for a visa in Japan. However, applicants should decide where to apply based on more than just convenience or delay in getting an appointment in their home district. One thing to consider, for example, is in which consular district the applicant can demonstrate the strongest ties.

There is no guarantee that a visa will be issued, nor is there a guarantee of processing time. If refused, there is no refund of the application fee.

Какой сложный вопрос у вас. Из однозначных ответов только то, что карту резидента вам не выдадут, т.к. виза туристическая. Сможете ли вы пройти в посольство без нее, объяснив ситуацию, не знаю.

Concerning withdrawal after entrance (where “entrance” is considered as the first day the student attends classes or takes part in a school event, such as the entrance ceremony), or withdrawal before completing the period you enrolled for, except for a cancellation charge corresponding to 2 school terms tuition fee, ARC Academy, will refund the remaining tuition fees for the school terms not yet attended in instalments of 3 months. Moreover, a 20% cancellation charge will be deducted from the refundable amount. Refund will be bank transferred after you have provided to ARC Academy either proof of your return to your home country, the entrance into higher education in Japan or your visa status change in Japan.

Если даты и продолжительность предыдущих визитов в Японию не умещаются в поле в визовой анкете, можно на отдельный листок выписать? Может кто-то так делал?
Так написано в английских гайдах:
If your response to this portion of the Japan visa application form no longer fits the provided line, feel free to use a separate sheet and indicate something like ‘Continued on separate sheet.’

Виза в Японию из Китая 🇯🇵 🇨🇳
Возможно кому-то это будет полезно. Самой порекомендовали.
Консульство Японии в Шанхае не принимает заявки на визы от физических лиц/ индивидуальных заявителей, то есть просто собрать документы и приехать к ним не получится, по крайней мере я так поняла, когда изучала этот вопрос. Китайцы получают визы очень просто и быстро. А мне и мужу, гражданам РФ и резидентам Китая, пришлось делать через агенство.

Поэтому мы с мужем обратились в агентство в Шанхае, которое делает визы. (И уже делало иностранцам) Имея китайское внж и
определенные документы это сделать несложно. Мы списались с компанией, отправили им пакет документов (сами мы в другой провинции) и через 8 дней у нас уже была виза на руках! 🙌

Оплата услуг после получения визы, а цена зависит от провинции.

The J-Find system will grant graduates from top foreign universities an extended period of stay as they search for employment in Japan. The goal of this new policy is to attract “young people with high potential who are expected to play an active role in the future,” according to the ministry.

Under the current policy, these graduates can stay in Japan for 90 days under the "short-term stay" status to search for a job, but J-Find would extend that to two years. Family members will also be able to accompany these individuals.

у меня вопрос какие машины (год, мощность, сторона руля, евро стандарт и т.п.) и при каких типах виз можно ввезти без дьюти при переезде в Японию

If a vehicle is imported as a part of household goods to be moved, it may be exempt from tax under certain conditions. This requires submission of an import declaration form, necessary documents to be declared, passport(s) (of the applicant and accompanying family members), three Application Forms for Duty-free Importation of Household Goods including Vehicles, one Declaration of Accompanied and Unaccompanied Goods (the ones approved by the customs when entering Japan), and a document that certifies the vehicle has been driven, such as a vehicle registration in a foreign country

повезу не из РФ, выбор что повезти (даже с какой стороны руль) есть (есть, конечно, выбор не везти совсем, а продать, а потом попытаться в Японии купить, но он не очень хорош для моей семьи.. и не уверен, что смогу что-то купить без японских прав),
свои водительскин права у меня - не РФ

тут ещё вопрос, но не к таможне, как скоро нужно будет заменить права на японские.. в Европе давали аж целый год со своей машиной и своими национальными правами

Привет! Может кто помочь понять смысл сказанного моим агентом. Сейчас рассматриваем квартиру и я вообще не соображаю, что он имеет ввиду своими словами даже с помощью транслейта т.т

Всем привет! Господа, господессы, поделитесь мнением, пожалуйста.

Некоторые студенты, только собиравшиеся в Японию, настораживались, что шэрхаусы просят предоплату, а у людей на руках ни договора, никакой бумажки подтверждающей бронь, условно.
У меня же обратная ситуация случилась: шэр хочет, чтобы я заплатила уже по приезду, за день до заселения (также нужно будет отправить заполненную заявку и по прилету прислать карту резидента для гарантийной компании). Бронь вроде как подтвердили, с Токиошэрхаус комнату мою убрали. Вот и вопрос, это вариант нормы?
